Christoph Marchhart and his wife Karo have managed Marchharts restaurant on the Leopoldskroner Weiher lake since 2002. After holding a number of positions abroad, Christoph put down roots here, hoping to offer something very special with Thai cuisine, seafood and steaks: Three Times the Enjoyment. So depending on what you’re hungry for, you can have your choice of exotic flavours, the catch of the day or grilled meats in the restaurant’s laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere.
One exceptional highlight is the restaurant’s beautiful terrace, which offers a view of the mountains, Leopoldskron Palace and the Hohensalzburg Fortress.
This is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing evening after work – for example, sipping a fine craft beer or one of our homemade iced tea. The high quality of the ingredients he uses in his kitchen is important to Christoph Marchhart, so he pays close attention to regional suppliers.
